Using the Blood & Plunder Board Generator
This post is showing my Blood & Plunder Board Generator in use.
To start, I created my deck of 3 red face cards, 3 red number cards, and 4 black cards.
Then I split the board into 20 squares in a 5x4 grid.
I used tape measures to begin to show the grid that I created to lay down each card.
For this post, I wanted to auto-include a road. I rolled a 5 and added an L-shaped road.
Next, I flipped the cards face up and rolled a die for each red card.
A 10 on a red face is a large structure while a 2 on a red face is man-made cover.
My road originally interfered with the next result, an 8 on a red number, which is natural cover. I turned my road to the opposite side so it would cross into an empty space and carried on.
My next three results were a
The top of the board has been generated. Now we will repeat the process for the bottom.

These rolls were natural rough & no cover, natural rough & no cover, and a large structure.

These rolls resulted in natural rough & no cover, a structure, and man-made hard cover.

Our board heavily favored the top over the bottom, so I made the following adjustments:

Usually, I add some single trees in some of the empty spaces, but I was left with only two to spare after making board adjustments.

There we have a finished board! Thanks for joining me on the journey and let me know if you have tried this method to create boards yourself.
Note: Since we had a road on the board all of the buildings auto-oriented towards to the road, but without a road we would have had to roll for the direction of the main doorway.
